What needs to prepare before travel?

The biggest joy that travel brings to me is exploring. I have been a big fan of traveling since I was 5. At that time, my mom usually brought me to visit different cities in China.
"I remember you usually ranked the first when we were climbing the mountains," my mom said.
But I don't have a great memory, so I decide to start a travel blog to record some impressive travel I had with different friends.
As the first post of my travel notes, I want to post some tips to make your trip more fun before recalling my impressive travels.
1. Decide 4W
Yes, it is similar to the major factors in news. You should define 4W before you go. When and where is the first part since it will decide your destination and weather. Also having a great friend (who) companying with you will also make the trip easier. "What" plays a big part in you travel plan before you go.
2. Listen to others' suggestions
I think searching for others' travel notes of your destination is a great way to have a relatively clear image of how your trip will be. Based on others' experiences, you can avoid what you don't want to experience, and select the most attractive spots for you to visit. From my past experience, looking through others' travel notes kind of provided me where worth to eat, where worth to visit and where worth to live, which is really useful in designing a satisfying travel.
3. Remember to prepare some medicines
That's really IMPORTANT! I had experienced sickness once during my trip at Chongqing, China. I had dysmenorrhea after I landed in Chongqing. It suddenly weakened my body, which directly influenced the mood and quality of the beginning of the trip. I was lucky to find a drug store near my hotel. So remember to bring some medicines that you might need just in care you can't immediately find one in your destination.
At the end of the blog, I just want to say one sentence, "Plan well, and well play!"
