“The initial purpose to start this blog is to recall some past trips that are important to me, and I want to use this blog to record all of these so that it won't be taken away by the time.”
“Let's plan an escape from the stressful class for a while," my classmate Olive said that to me one day in class, which suddenly lighted my passion to travel some places.
Because Chicago is the closest big city to us, we chose it as our destination of this short trip to comfort our restless soul and our piggish appetite.
After we found that it has extremely public transportation, we purchased a three-day-pass to experience the city more directly.

It was totally different from New York's subway, where you could see some rats running through the metro track. The metro in Chicago was relatively new and clean. The most magical part is that you can go through high buildings and large mansions by metro. And because of that, we could use our eyes to see what the city is actually like.

Chicago rehabilitated its downtown after the famous fire in 1870. Its buildings in downtown are full of the sense of design. So Olive used fish-eye lens to take a picture of me and the buildings, which kind of brought me a sense of lost. Where can I find the place to settle down in a big city? Where shall I go? Those are questions in my mind after I saw the photo. I think I may figure out the answers after I truly enter the society, have my own job in a big city.

My traveling companion is strict to photography, which sometimes annoyed me a little since we had to stay at one place for a long time in order to take a satisfying photo. However, after the trip was over, I wanted to thank for her insistence so that I had more time to deeply experience the place and we had more beautiful photos to recall our memory.
Love the metro, love the downtown, especially love my company!
