When I was in high school, I had a group of friends who enjoyed sharing each other’s life. As a transfer student who had grown up in a different city, I came up with an idea about showing them around my hometown.

It happened on the summer vacation of senior two. Considering the load of our summer homework assignments was heavy, I designed a 5-day tour, including climbing mountains, drifting along river and tasting the local food. During the preparation, I searched on internet for which place was great for tourism, and filtered out all the places to make best choices based on people’s assessments. Then I consulted my childhood friends to conclude delicious food that was worth to try, and wrote it in my notebook to prevent forgetting.

Unfortunately, the journey was not satisfactory as I imagined. A discordant note unexpectedly appeared. It was happened at the second half of the journey, and the schedule of that day was to climb one of the most famous mountains in my hometown, Day ridge Longmen.

After a long-time of climbing without any amusement facilities, everyone in this trip was tired to speak, and the smile on their faces disappeared without any signals. The times of rest increased more often. The surroundings went into a dead silence, only leaving the sound of birds and winds. “It is so boring here!” One word that came from my friend Bob suddenly broke the silence. Although he said in a very weak voice, I still caught his word and expression. I felt depressed, and my heart was broken all of a sudden.

However, I learned a lot from this unforgettable experience. I start to realize that it is not easy to satisfy every person and delight them in a group, because everyone is a unique individual who has their own thoughts and feelings. I can’t just make all decisions for convenience or ambition. That's also a tip for trip. Don't forget to consult your friends' opinions.
