When I was sophomore at South China Technology University in Guangzhou, Guangdong, my roommate Huiyi and I had planned a trip to Yangshuo, because there was a student organization in our universities towns designing several travel plans targeting students.
We were attracted by the beautiful views of Yangshuo and also the low price.
Yangshuo is located in the another province next to our campus, so in the first day we took a 6-hour bus to get there.
However, the most impressive part was not about the beautiful scenes or delicious food there.
Bicycle trip was one of the schedule in our trip in order to have the chance visiting the city in a relatively relaxing and slow way.
To be honest, I didn't know how to ride a bike until I turned 18. So when I heard that we needed to ride a bike one day from one place to another place. I wanted to quit in that plan at first.

"Why don't you try that? It's an important part in our trip," Huiyi pushed a bicycle to my front.
"But it's rainy. I'm afraid my poor skill will fall me down," I was still hesitated to take that suggestion.
"Don't worry! I'll follow and protect you. I promise you will regret if you miss this!"
Her words really comforted and cheered me, so I decided to prove myself that I can make that.
When I was in that trip, I realized that bicycle was not as scary as I thought it would be. After I became familiar with the tempo of riding, I started to enjoy the feeling of embraced by the wind. Although I did fall off my bike because I didn't control my speed well, it was still not too horrible as I imagined.

Thanks to Huiyi and myself, I had the opportunity to see the most beautiful scene in Yangshuo, and defeated that timid Miko.
